Rader, William D. (1996). Toward a Philosophy of Economics Education, Social Studies. Argues that economic literacy is necessary for an informed opinion about the factors influencing our society and government. Maintains that, currently, high school students' misinformation about economic facts and their inability to perform economic analysis puts our economy at risk. Yeager, Arthur (1985). The Medical Case for Seat Belts on School Buses, School Business Affairs. A group is actively supporting legislation to require seat belts on only newly manufactured school buses. However, misinformation is being circulated to oppose the installation of seat belts in school buses. Wilcox, Rand R. (1982). Some New Results on an Answer-until-Correct Scoring Procedure, Journal of Educational Measurement. A new model for measuring misinformation is suggested.
